The Aurora at Vinewood combines a rich history and modern solutions to create the very best weddings and events. Originally built in 1889 as an amusement park, it has a storied past that has included many different uses. Today The Aurora at Vinewood sits on five acres of land with beautiful views. While some features of the original property still exist, many tasteful updates have been completed to bring it to modern beauty.

The Aurora at Vinewood was purchased in 2023 by Joseph & Janie Frobisher with a partnership group with the vision of bringing a beautiful piece of Topeka history to anyone with something to celebrate. They are excited to offer accessible services with outstanding customer service to all who express interest, book, or attend an event at the Venue.

In 2023 renovations were completed on a brand new bridal room, the groom’s room also received an update, and many other renovations also took place.

The Aurora at Vinewood sits in the valley just below Lake Shawnee on the North side and has easy access to many of the beautiful features such as Ted Ensley Gardens, the top of the dam, and all of the beauty of its expanse.
